mindflower is the solo audio-visual project of Gen Yamada.
Using the line connecting the left and right ears as the x-axis and time as the z-axis, the project explores structural audio-visual works and improvised performances, primarily in Tokyo. In 2024, the debut EP “flotsam” was released on Australian label Burnt Seed, followed by “Time in Two”, an exploration of progression and suspension through movement, stillness, continuity, and interruption.
