HASSHIKI has launched a new initiative,
“Listening as an Open Chain — Listening to Artists’ Backgrounds,”
and has begun releasing playlists on Spotify as a way to share artists’ backgrounds through sequences of sound.
Artists involved in HASSHIKI, across different disciplines, will take turns curating playlists, tracing what they have listened to and the contexts behind their practices through music.
Updates on newly released playlists will be shared via our social media channels.
